BY SYDNEY HUGHS-BAIRD, NEVADA, U.S.A.

The stars in the sky
Oh how they fly
With Pegasus, Draco, and Phoenix
Oh how they are bright
They light up the night
With Venus and Mars to assist them
Astronomers watch with joyful delight
As these constellations tell stories all night

This poem was the second-place winner in the AWB GAM2013 Astropoetry Contest, Children’s Division (grades 1-6).
