The first work, with a picture taken from a ship on the Danube River (with the sunset near the city of Braila), represents a metaphoric localization of ancient Dacia (current Romania). Thus: -The Argonauts’ expedition (connected to more names of constellations, such as Aries, Hercules, Gemini, Vela, Puppis, Carina etc.) passed on this river in immemorial times. -Apollo (the god of light) was half Hyperborean (after his mother, Leto), and Hyperborea was identified by Homer as Dacia.   -Donaris was the Dacian name of the Danube River (named Dunarea by Romanians).    The next three pictures were taken in Bucharest:...

We waited and waited as the years passed us by To see a bright comet, as it passed through the sky. McNaught, a beautiful sight but too far south, Seen by the Aussies but for us it never panned out. Then came Siding Spring by the Aussies again: It moved by the horizon, which for us was a pain. We awaited the next one the Russians named ISON: A flare it encountered, as it raced by the Sun.
